FINANCIAL ANALYST — part TIME, remote
For the individual who is all about the love for numbers, with the knowledge of how to churn growth through well-managed financials.
We’re looking for someone who can take care of the following responsibilities for The Space At 9/2’s design studios in Calcutta and Mumbai, and its subsidiary brands —
i. Manage regular inflow and outflow of monetary and fixed resources
ii. Analyse and assess returns across qualitative and quantitative measures for expenses made
iii. Work with the Head of Business & Operations to drive decisions across the business’s pricing model, Human Resources, and expansion needs with your take on them based on Financial analysis
iv. Prepare and publish financial forecasts for the business
v. Generate invoices and ensure correct inflow and outflow of payments
vi. Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
vii. Manage & Analyse balance sheets and profit/loss statements
viii. Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
ix. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
x. Creating records for investments
Full-time in Calcutta
This individual will be working directly working with and reporting to the Head of Business & Operations and the Director of The Space At 9/2.
Min. Requirements for profile -
- CA/CS/CFA Accomplished or Appearing
- BBA/BSc. Economics/BFin/BCom Graduate from a reputed University
- An above average GPA
- Relevant practical experience of min. 1 year (internships counted)
- Ability to match practical implications with numerical findings
- Qualitative and quantitative thinking
- Proficiency in English
- Confident and a Problem-solving attitude
