Business Development Associate — FULL TIME, CALCUTTA, INDIA
We are looking for an experienced business development associate who is driven, self-motivated and equally great atbuilding relationships with our clients and reaching out to potential clients.
ROLE —
A. To work alongside the Head of Business & Operations to research, strategise, establish and execute –i. Avenues to reach out to potential clients/brands
ii. plan out marketing and outreach basis requirement
iii. preparing pitch decks and other relevant materials/documents
B. To take up client-facing and servicing roles in order to ensure –
i. Seamless communication of positioning of the studio
ii. Clarity in goal setting and expectations between the clients and the studio
iii. Continuous efforts to filter the right quality work received by the studio, in order to match the overarching goals of the studio.
This is a full-time position and the candidate is required to commence work at our studio as soon as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES —
i. Coming forth with fresh, well-researched and structured processes for outreachii. Leading the outreach, communicating smartly and able to put forth the studio’s ideology everytime a client is approached or a project is closed
iii. While you may not be designing the outcome, it is your responsibility to work cohesively with your partner-designer, put forward your ideas and ensuring the outcome is delivered with efficiency.
iv. Discussions on effective marketing, strategy and promotions for the studio, to ensure that our work reaches the audience in the most appropriate way
v. Timely execution of plans, so no need-gap situation arises
vi. Respect and value resources offered by the studio for client outreach, maintaining it’s confidentiality
vii. Liaison with contributors and decision-makers of your respective role/tasks
viii. Having fun and loving what you do/create :)

Proficient in written and spoken English; should also be able to communicate thoughts in either Hindi or Bengali.
EXPERIENCE —
2-3 years of minimum work experienceAs you would have gathered, the work requires proficiency across media and levels of thinking, but that is where the challenge and charm is. As strategic thinkers, everyone has their strengths, and not so strong suits. However, we’re a team that aims to balance that with what everyone brings to the table.
